EKAM — short for Erin Kumpf Alchemy of Movement — is a sanctuary for renewal.
Founded by Erin Kumpf, DACM, LAc, a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and Tier 2 Certified Holden Qigong Teacher, EKAM merges ancient practice with modern understanding.

Through in-person and virtual classes, workshops, and immersive retreats, we guide students in calming the nervous system, cultivating vitality, and returning to balance — one breath, one movement, one moment at a time.

  • Not at all! Qigong is for everyone — all ages, all bodies, all levels. Each class meets you where you are.

  • Wear something comfortable that allows easy movement. Shoes are optional — many prefer to practice barefoot or in socks.

  • Think of Qigong as the gentle cousin — more meditative and less about form, more about flow. It’s all about cultivating your life-force energy (Qi).

  • Most students feel calm, clear, and refreshed — sometimes a little floaty, always more grounded. It’s like your nervous system finally exhaled.
